The Sullivan County Regional Health Department is dedicated to promoting good health. Our children’s programs span the life of the child from the mother’s pregnancy to the child’s age of 21.
The CSS (Children’s Special Services) Program assists children with special health care needs. CSS may provide coverage for comprehensive medical care and other non-medical resources for children with physical disabilities from birth to 21 years of age. Diagnostic and financial eligibility criteria must be met to participate in the program.
The HUGS (Help Us Grow Successfully) Program focuses on pregnant women and their children who are in need of support, education, and accessing community resources. The HUGS program seeks to prevent or reduce risks as well as promote health and wellness.
