PROGRAMS & SERVICES

The Sullivan County Regional Health Department offers a wide and varied range of services to our community. For our women and children we offer immunizations and WIC. WIC (Women, Infants and Children) is a nutritional program for pregnant moms and children through age 5. Lead poisoning prevention programs, school health services for Sullivan County School System, and children’s school exams are also offered. Programs for children and moms provide assistance for coordination of care for the needs of the mothers and children. Pregnancy tests, birth control, and family planning services are offered as well as STD (sexually transmitted disease) confidential education, counseling, and treatment. Breast and cervical cancer screening services are available at both the Blountville and Kingsport offices.

Sullivan County Regional Health Department will begin offering health department services at a limited capacity beginning on Tuesday, July 6th, 2021. This applies to both the Kingsport and Blountville Health Department locations. The primary focus of open appointments at this time will be for child immunizations and school related health needs. Family Planning visits will still be available in Kingsport ONLY at this time. WIC appointments will continue via telephone. Masks will be required by clients in the building and temperature checks will continue for all coming into the Health Department. Please call 423-279-2777 for an appointment.
